Watch the best of me Movie Online Full Movie Streaming As shown in the opening scenes of the latest Nicholas Sparks adaptation the best of me, Dawson Cole, the male protagonist of the film is a Nicholas Sparks IEST character you can imagine. Played as an adult, James Marsden, Dawson operates a drilling rig, says Stephen Hawking books in his spare time to provide cash in an envelope at home and looking at the stars at night; He is a soulful, rims, wandering, working class romantic. And of course he has a soul mate: the beautiful Amanda (played as an adult, a big Michelle Monaghan)
now a wife and mother who also like to look at the stars, especially when the angry Finance bro hemorrhoids husband escape (Sebastian Arcelus).
When a mutual friend, Amanda and Dawson dies of old age 92, he leaves his rural Louisiana cottage with two of them. And so we learn what happened many years ago lo - as Amanda and Dawson came together, and what drove them apart. As these stories go, what we find out, is not a particularly melodramatic at first, even if foreseeable. Amanda (from Liana Liberato, played a teenager) was beautiful, the wealthy, stubborn, popular girl. Dawson (of a teenager Luke Bracey played that looks so weird contrast James Marsden, that it is legally troublesome) was a long-haired outsider from the wrong side of the tracks, with a white-trash family, a gang of train robbers in the 19th century ago. Both, however, wanted more out of life. Dawson wanted to read textbooks water towers themselves, as the sun went down; Amanda wanted to go to Tulane and the study of psychology and public policy.
Because I never get tired of saying these things, the living conditions of the chemistry of the leads. And the two lines - young and "old" versions of Amanda and Dawson - seem like they belong together. In particular, Monaghan makes a good balance between regret and anticipation. To convey his wide, attentive eyes and a half smile on his desire hesitant
we recognize that this is a woman with a complex inner life, full of remorse. And if you unfortunately struck not catch the feeling of the film makes sure to give him lines like: "I had so many plans I do not know what happened!" (This is the point where I note that currently Monaghan also star superior, self-contained drama Fort Bliss, out now in theaters and on VOD. He gives you the best performance of the year, go see in the film.)
It is a strange imbalance in the Best of Me, that almost breaks the entire movie. For the most part, the film is a lush and peaceful: Amanda and Dawson make a lot circled each other, and they spend a
lot of time in the beautiful settings (the lines Weeping Willows, Auburn sunsets, acidic lakes, etc.) to talk about what years ago happened ... without actually telling us what happened years ago. You do not need to tell us, of course; Flashbacks at the end to do that for us. But it also means that this otherwise quiet film back loaded wild melodrama; it is deliberately off the rails in the final act, since both the crazy events of the past and the crazy events of the present Converge. Unbalance does not help the film; it seems rushed like a manipulative, - as if anyone remembers that in this Nicholas Sparks movie, it was not yet meet the audience Teardrop request rates.
Of course, the movies based on books to Sparks are obvious and touching. That's why no one first observes. But this is also the number of wild twists and revelations, and culminates in a tearful handled deftly; they are part of the attraction, after all. And the best of me, a melodrama seems so busy and half-baked, the end result is not only a disappointment. It is a borderline annoying.
